History

St. Breckans GAA club is based in the parish of Lisdoonvarna, County Clare, Ireland and represents Lisdoonvarna, Doolin, Kilshanny and Toovahera. It is a Gaelic Football Club and does not have a Hurling Team.

The club itself was founded in 1969. Initially the club operated in the Junior Football ranks in County Clare, but over the years the Junior Championship and then the Intermediate Championship were won. The club now operates in the Senior League (Cusack Cup) and Senior Championship in Clare and has football teams at u.12, u.14, u.16, u.18 (minor), u.21, Junior and Senior.

From the beginning the club colours have been and continue to be maroon jerseys, white football shorts and maroon and white socks.
