Bree Community Centre was officially opened on 2nd March 1969. The facilities are used extensively both day and evening by the many organisations and groups in the area. In 1999 some 30 years later an extension was added consisting of a kitchen and meeting room. It replaced St. Aidan’s Hall, which is now the site of the I.C.A. garden, across the road.
