Proposals:

Only those written proposals received before 08/10/09 will be voted on at this AGM, all the following proposals will need to be seconded by a member at the AGM before they can go to a vote.

1. The committee propose the appointing of an official club registrar.

2. The committee propose that the new committee buy a robust mini marquee before the next all Irelands.

3. The committee propose that once adopted to the constitution a rule cannot be revoked for a 3 year period unless with a 66% majority of members at an AGM.

4. The committee propose that should three junior members not be available at the AGM to serve on a new committee, the new committee be deemed eligible to continue without junior members.

5. The committee propose that membership increases by €5 for juniors and €10 for adults and families.

6. *The Chairperson of Edermine Ferry Rowing Club shall only use his/her vote as a casting vote, Proposed by Maura Hempenstall

7. *All members shall have the right to vote at all meetings of Edermine Ferry Rowing Club, Proposed by Maura Hempenstall

8. *The AGM of Edermine Ferry Rowing Club shall be held in March of each Year, before a new rowing season begins. Proposed by Maura Hempenstall

9. *Any issues that arise at any meeting, including the AGM, shall be addressed, regardless of whether the secretary has been notified in writing or not. Proposed by Maura Hempenstall.

10. I propose that committee members who resign their positions acrimoniously should not be eligible to sit on the committee for a two year period. Proposed by Pat Carr.

11. I propose that the rule on the necessity for officers to relinquish their positions after three years service be implemented retrospectively. Proposed by Alphonsus Kehoe.

12. The committee proposes a wider discussion on club voting rights with perhaps a nominal amount of votes per family. An adult pays €30 and has one vote, a family pays €50 and has a much larger voting entitlement.

Only written topics for discussion received before 08/10/09 will be dealt with under the above heading at the AGM.
