Church Cleaning Appeal The sign-up of volunteers to assist with Church cleaning has been somewhat lethargic to date!  Thank you to those who have already signed up.  Hopefully, more names will be added very soon so that the burden on any individual will be lessened and frequency of being rostered will be reduced.  The sign-up sheet is beside the envelope box.

Service of Remembrance Wexford General Hospital’s Annual Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 19.30 in Clonard Church, Wexford.  Families of patients who died in Wexford General Hospital recently or in the past are cordially invited to attend. 

Ferns-Lourdes Fund Social Night. A social night will be held on Friday 15th November in the Riverside Park Hotel from 9pm till late, in aid of the Ferns Lourdes Fund.  Music on the night will be by Teresa & The Stars with special guests Stephen Murphy & Leslie Dunne.   Ticket €20.00 available at the door or contact Aine Roche (087) 976-7623.  Finger food will be served.

Afternoon-Tea Dance In aid of the Irish Senior Citizens’ Parliament (Wexford Division) in the Talbot Hotel, Wexford on Sunday November 17 from 3:00-6:00 pm.   Adm €12.  Music by the Wexford Folk Orchestra.

 Bree Youth Club News  On Friday 8th November Sacre Couer Boxing Club will visit Bree Youth Club to introduce our members to the sport of boxing.  There will be a demonstration and members will have the opportunity to spar against each other.  The evening will be fully supervised and there will be particular focus on self control and self awareness.  With the success of Irish Olympian Katie Taylor boxing is gaining in popularity.  Admission on the night will be €2.

Ballyhogue Gaa Club AGM All members are asked to attend the Annual General Meeting of Ballyhogue Gaa Club on Friday 29th November 2013 in Bree Community Centre at 8pm. All members old and new will be welcomed. We would particularly like to see a good representation of parents of our underage players and members of our adult playing squads at the meeting.

Ballyhogue Gaa Lotto.  Reminder that the next draw for a jackpot of €5000 will be in Byrne's of Bree on 6th November at 830pm. Your continued support of the Lotto is very much appreciated as it is the main source of funding for the club.

Club Development Night. The club is in the process of drawing up a 5 year plan. We will be holding an information night in the coming weeks to get as many ideas from the community as possible on how to develop the club for the years ahead. More information to follow.

Hope Thankyou  Many thanks to all who supported the recent church gate collection for the Hope Cancer Support Centre, Enniscorthy. The amount collected was €241.20

U8 Indoor hurling U8 indoor hurling will resume on Mon 4th November from 7.00-8.00 in Bree Hall. This is for children born in 2006 and 2007, who are 6 years old at present and must have completed one year in primary school. They will helmet, shin guards and €2. ZUMBA Classes  Zumba Classes in Bree Community Centre every Monday night from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Classes €8—pay as you go.  The class caters for all levels of fitness.  For more information contact Lisa at 086 335779.
