A public meeting will be held in the meeting room of the
Community Centre on Monday 9th January at 8pm with the purpose of setting up a
Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in the parish. Organised
by Bree Community Development Group Ltd. speakers on the night will include Tom Murphy,
speaking on behalf of an Garda Siochána and Margaret Quinn of Muintir na Tíre. It is hoped that every house in the parish will be
represented as valuable information will be given out on the night about how to safeguard
your property and person. In the light of a
big increase in thefts throughout the county it is vital that this meeting is well
supported.
