NEWS
29 junior members travelled to
Marshalstown for the Halloween disco on Friday 30th October. It was a fun
night with approximately 160 young people attending the event. Brees Laoise
Rodgers won best female costume and Lee Spratt best male costume. On the previous
Friday, 49 senior members travelled to Camross for the senior disco. Many thanks to
Mark Rodgers for helping out on the night. More leaders needed. At the moment we ask parents of
young people attending Bree Youth Club to volunteer one Friday night per year to help out
at the club. We have had a very positive response from you all and your help is
greatly appreciated. Every week we aim to have one adult present for every 10
members. With the numbers that are currently attending the senior club we ideally
require 6 adults between 8pm and 9 pm. Leaders courses are run
frequently by FDYS and it would mean a great deal to the club if we could get volunteers
to attend this course and thereafter help out on a regular basis on club nights. The
more leaders we have the lighter the commitment on each leaders part. If you believe
that you could give 2 hours on occasional Friday nights, then please contact any one of
the leaders, or, Anne on 9243470. BAG PACKING
