annual SVdP Christmas appeal this weekend after mass in the Church porch
Carol Service Bree
Parish will host an ecumenical Carol Service on Thursday, Dec 19 at 8:00 pm in Bree Church. The traditional Service of readings and Carols will
be led by Archdeacon Chris Long. The Parish
Choir and Bree Youth Club will lead the congregational singing of seasonal carols.
Penny Bank Cheques have
been issued to all savers. Please cash cheques
at your earliest convenience. Bree parish is
grateful to all who availed of the Penny Bank in 2013 and to Eddie Dunne in particular for
his work and commitment. Interest accruing
amounted to €605.61 which will be applied to parish funds.

Bree United Christmas Bazaar Bree
Utd will hold a Christmas Bazaar on Sun 15th of Dec in Bree Hall. Interested stall-holders please contact Catherine
Jordan on (086) 858-7937. Special guest on the
day is Santa and a few of his Elves. There will be competitions for the kids, best
Chocolate Christmas Log, Christmas Tree Cookie decorations, stalls with something for
everyone and of course refreshments.

Bree Youth Club News Senior
disco on Fri 13th Dec in Taghmon. Bus departs
Bree at 8.15pm—return by midnight (approx). On
the same night the junior members Inter Club Party in Bree from 8pm until 10pm. Junior members can sign up to attend on
Friday club nights.
St Iberius’ Christmas
Fair (In
aid of Tower Repair Fund) from Saturday 14th December 11.30 onwards in the Walled garden
at rear of Church, Main St, Wexford. Christmas
Baking, Mince Pies, Christmas Decorations, Christmas Wreaths, Table Centres & New Toys. Monster
raffle. All support would be much appreciated.
Cathedral Christmas Concert A Christmas concert
featuring Lorna Mahon, John Dempsey, Enniscorthy
Choral Society, St. Aidan’s Primary School Choir, Paul O’Reilly and more
will take place in St Aidan’s Cathedral on Sunday
15th December at 8pm. Tickets €10
are on sale from the Parish Office (053 923-5777). Accompanied
children are FREE. Proceeds towards the
Cathedral Organ Fund.
Latin and Ballroom Fitness Classes This new Latin and
Ballroom Fitness Classes will commence in early January in Bree Community Centre on Monday
nights from 8.30 p.m. to 9.15 p.m. Class
members will learn dances such as the waltz, chacha, quick step and jive. Classes cost €8 per night. For more information contact Niki at 085 1416953.
Bree Active Retirement Association Our next social will be on Dec 18th in Bree with Indoor Bowls
continuing on Wed 4th and Wed 11th Dec.
Coffee Day Stephen
and Majella Murphy will host a Coffee Day at their home in Wilton, Bree on Sunday December
15th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in aid of Enniscorthy Branch of St. Vincent de Paul and the
Wexford Women’s Refuge. All support would
