Colitis & Crohn’s Disease The Irish Society for Colitis and Crohn’s will hold a public meeting for patients, their family and friends, in The Woodlands Hotel, Waterford on Saturday 15th February 2014 between 2pm and 5pm.  Speakers: Dr Ashraf Morcos - Consulatant Gastroenterologist, Mr Fiachra Cooke - Consultant Surgeon.  Topics Include: LIVING WITH IBD,  Surgery and IBD and more.  Refreshments will be served. Samaritans For over 40 years Samaritans volunteers have been there for those experiencing depression, relationship and family issues, loneliness, isolation, physical and mental health issues, as well as suicidal thoughts and feelings.  Samaritans are now working with local communities in Wicklow and Wexford with a view to establishing a branch of Samaritans in Arklow town.  Could YOU be there when someone calls..? Would you like to hear more?   Information evenings will be held Wednesday 12TH February – Gorey VENUE: Ashdown Park Hotel, The Coach Road, Gorey @ 7.30 p.m.   Wednesday 19th  February – Enniscorthy VENUE: The Presentation Centre, Nunnery Road. Enniscorthy @ 7.30 p.m.   Wednesday 26th   February – Wexford.  VENUE: White’s Hotel. Wexford Town @ 7.30pm. Further information will also be available in local papers and on local radio.

Ballyhogue Ladies Football Club  Another season is about to start for Ballyhogue Ladies Football Club , with training resuming for all age groups in the coming weeks. We are delighted this year as we have another age group the under 10's, anyone interested in playing   football this year please contact the relevant manager for your age group , if unsure just contact any of the managers who will assist you. New players most welcome. Disabled Drivers Church Gate Collection The annual Disabled Drivers Church Gate Collection takes place on Saturday and Sunday February 15th and 16th.  All support would be greatly appreciated.

Bree Hall Committee Meeting A meeting of Bree Hall Committee will take place on Monday February 10th at 8.30 p.m. 

Bree Development Group A meeting of Bree Community Development Group will take place on Monday February 17th at 8.30 p.m. 

Bree Tidy Towns A meeting of Bree Tidy Towns will be held in Bree Community Centre on Monday 10th February at 8 pm. As we have entered the first month of Spring, the time is fast approaching to plan for a new season of Tidy Towns! We would welcome all interested members of Bree community to join in efforts to maintain our village and surroundings. The workload is light when shared and new ideas and enthusiasm may be what is needed to further enhance our marks in the Tidy Towns competition 2014.

Bree Active Retirement Social Afternoon The next social of Bree ARA will be held on Wednesday 19th Feb from 2.00pm until 5.00pm.  Margaret Quinn of Muintir na Tire will speak to us about personal alarms.  The insurance fee of 8 is now due and will be taken up at this meeting.  New members are always welcome and it would be a good New Year's resolution to join.  For further details contact 9236782.

Bree ICA Meeting  The next meeting of Bree ICA will take place in the Community Centre meeting room on Tuesday night the 18th Feb. The committee meeting will take place at 7.20 p.m.  on that night followed by the full meeting.  New members very welcome.

Bree CEP Vacancies—Bree CEP Ltd. are now taking applications for vacancies on the 2014/15 Project which will commence shortly.  Applications for Childcare Positions (Bri Beag), Care of Elderly (Active Retirement), Community Centre, Environmental and Clerical positions are sought.   Applicants must comply with DSP qualifying criteria and Garda Vetting will be required for Childcare and Care of Elderly positions.  To apply for a position please contact the DSP (FAS) office in Abbey Square, Enniscorthy or Bree CEP Office in Bree Community Centre. 

S.N. Seosamh Naofa - Enrolments  S.N. Seosamh Naofa, Brí are now taking enrolments for September 2014.  Enrolment packs can be collected at the school office from Melissa or you can call the school office (053-9247725) for a pack to be posted out. Please return the completed enrolment forms as soon as possible so that we can plan for the next school year.

Bree Youth Club News  -The planned Senior Disco to be hosted by Bree YC in Taghmon on February 14th has now be changed to February 28th.  On February 14th there will be an inter club Unihoc and Tag Rugby Competition here in Bree Hall.  As this is a non spectator competition there will be no Club Night on that night.

Bree Parents Assoc News—Bree Parents Association will hold their next 'used clothing collection' on Wednesday February 12th from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. and  Thursday  February 13th 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. in Bree Community Centre.  Many thanks also to everyone who helped out with our recent bag packing in Dunnes Stores.  1175.68 was raised for our school.
