Bree Community Notices

 Church Cleaning Thank you to those who have signed up to assist with the Church cleaning.  More volunteers would be very welcome to lighten the load and reduce the frequency of being rostered.  The sign-up sheet is beside the envelope box.

Pioneer Mass of Remembrance A Mass of Remembrance for the deceased members of the Pioneer Association will be celebrated in St. Senan’s Church, Enniscorthy on Wednesday November 13th at 7.30 p.m.  Family and friends of Pioneers who have died in recent years are invited to attend and have the names of their loved ones included in our prayers of remembrance. 

Pioneer Dinner Dance The annual Pioneer Dinner Dance takes place in the Riverside Park Hotel on Wednesday evening next, November 13th commencing at 8.30 p.m.  Tickets costing 30 are available from Peter Canning at 087 2101284 or Eddie Dunne at 053 9247882/087 7609635. 

Afternoon-Tea Dance In aid of the Irish Senior Citizens’ Parliament (Wexford Division) in the Talbot Hotel, Wexford on Sunday November 17 from 3:00-6:00 pm.  Adm €12.  Music by the Wexford Folk Orchestra.

Bree Active Retirement  The next Social Afternoon of the Bree Active Retirement Group will be on Nov 20th. Please bring back Raffle Cards on that day. Reserve Nov 27th for Christmas lunch in Kelly's Resort Hotel. Members €10. Others who would like to join us €20. Contact 089 4616413 for more information.

Ballyhogue Ladies Football News The AGM of the Ballyhogue Ladies Football Club will be held in the Meeting Room in Bree Community Centre on Friday November 22nd at 8pm.  All supporters, Junior Players and the parents of Under age players are encouraged to attend.  Hard luck to the Minor girls who played brilliantly but lost out by a small margin in the County Final last Sunday.  Well done girls on a great game! Please remember to continue to support the local GAA Club Lotto. Training and games may be over for this year but we will need to have pitches for next year and the years to come, so your continued support is appreciated to help maintain and improve the facilities. ICA News A  Committee meeting of Bree ICA will take place on Tuesday night at 8.00 p.m.  in Bree Community Centre followed by a full meeting of the guild.  Mass for the deceased members of the Guild at 7 O'clock on Tuesday Nov 12th in Bree Church also.    New members are most welcome to join us.

ZUMBA Classes  Zumba Classes in Bree Community Centre every Monday night from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Classes 8—pay as you go.  The class caters for all levels of fitness.  For more information contact Lisa at 086 335779.

Ballyhogue Gaa Club AGM All members are asked to attend the Annual General Meeting of Ballyhogue Gaa Club on Friday 29th November 2013 in Bree Community Centre at 8pm. All members old and new will be welcomed. We would particularly like to see a good representation of parents of our underage players and members of our adult playing squads at the meeting. Club Development Night. The club is in the process of drawing up a 5 year plan. We will be holding an information night in the coming weeks to get as many ideas from the community as possible on how to develop the club for the years ahead. More information to follow.
