ST. VINCENT DE PAUL COLLECTION

A Bucket Collection for St Vincent de Paul will be held in the Porch on your way out after Mass. All monies raised in the Enniscorthy area (which includes Bree, Galbally and Ballyhogue) will be distributed in the Enniscorthy Area. Thank you for your support.

ACTIVE RETIREMENT NEWS

Christmas Lunch

This year the group will travel to the Stanville Hotel for their Christmas Lunch on December 14th.   The cost is €20 per head and all are most welcome.  Full details will be given in future editions of the Newsletter or by contacting the Active Retirement Group at 089 4616413.

BREE EURO/PENNY BANK

Over the last week the 2011 Penny Bank Deposits were paid out to members.  Just over €180,000 was saved in the Penny Bank this year.  This is an ideal way to save up for Christmas.  The Penny Bank will resume taking Deposits for 2012 in early January.

BREE UNITED FUNDRAISING CABARET

Bree United would like to thank all who supported their recent fundraising Cabaret.  Congratulations also to the winners of prizes on the night – they were as follows: Door Prize- Kelly McMullen, Hampers - Stephen Dunne and Stephanie Roche, Bottle of Wine - Brian Dunne, Tommy Plummer, Denis Kennedy, Tin Biscuits - PJ Kennedy, 1 hour of Bowling - Ciaran Hughes,  Bouncy Castle for day - Lar Rochford.  Again many thanks for all your kind support.

YOUTH CLUB NEWS

Recent Activities

The Senior members organised a trip to the cinema on the 2nd of
December to see Happy Feet 2. A great time was had by all. Everybody looked great in sunglasses (it was 3D). Big thank you to Paddy Walsh for driving the bus and to the Seniors who organised it all: Lucy Forte, Sara Celik, Sadhbh Kirwan,Leah Curran,Ronan Minogue and Cian Rodgers.

Christmas Carols
Our Christmas Carol fundraiser (for Hope) will take place after 7 pm Mass on the 17th of December. Carol practice will take place this week on Tuesday the 13th and Thursday the 15th of December from 8-9pm.Any members who can come along please do.

Seniors Christmas Disco

The 16th will see the Seniors heading to Taghmon for the Christmas Disco. The bus will be leaving promptly so please be at the community centre for 8.15pm.

Christmas Wishes/Club Nights

Finally, Club nights will not resume until the 6th of January so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our members and everyone in Bree.
