Community Games Best wishes to the 45
participants plus managers and coaches from
Bree /Davidstown areas competing in the National Finals of the Community Games this
weekend in Athlone. 31 young people will
take part in the Athletics finals and 14 in the Variety competition. With just under four weeks to go, the organising
committee has drawn up a detailed logistical plan for all the scheduled activities and the
personnel that will be required to ensure the efficient and orderly roll-out of the
Harvest Festival programme. Many groups and
organisations are committed to particular events during the festival and have already
invested huge time and effort into these. Volunteers
are required for general staffing duties during the weekend e.g. traffic control, parking,
stewarding etc. If you can assist in any way
or at any time during the weekend the committee would love to hear from you. Everyone has something to offer. Enjoy the events you wish to attend and consider
volunteering to help the festival be a fun event for everyone. If you
can assist in any way and for any period of time, please contact David on 087 7619555
