Confirmation Bishop Brennan celebrated the sacrament of Confirmation in Bree on Friday for 46 pupils from Bree, 13 pupils from Ballyhogue and 7 pupils from Galbally.  Congratulations to the confirmandi and their families on this happy occasion.  Many thanks to the class teachers who prepared the candidates for the sacrament.  Thanks also to Catherine Byrne, Leslie Dunne and the pupils of 3 & 4 classes for the delightful liturgical music.

Bree Utd Dinner Dance Bree United's Annual Dinner Dance will take place on the 9th of May this year, in the Stanville Lodge Hotel.  Tickets will cost €25, which includes dinner, bar extension and the fabulous Wicker House band.  It promises to be a fantastic evening so book your tickets early.

Bree Community Development AGM The AGM of Bree Community Development Group will take place on Monday March 24th at 8.30 p.m. in Bree Community Centre.  All are most welcome to attend.

Certified First Aid Course A Certified First Aid course to be held in Bree shortly, conducted by Enniscorthy Red Cross.   Anyone interested in doing same contact Breda Dunne on 087 3109426.

Bree Youth Club News Bree Youth Club seniors really enjoyed their last disco and believe it or not the seniors have another disco coming up, so registering for the next disco can be done on the next club night.   The cost of the disco will be €10. Also a lot of new fun equipment was recently purchased for the youth club, including volleyball and badminton equipment, tag rugby, indoor skittles and giant Jenga to name  a few, we hope the youth club members get a lot of enjoyment from them.

Disabled Drivers Assoc Thankyou  The Disabled Drivers Association would like to thank all who supported their recent Churchgate Collection.  A total of €192.26 was collected. 

Bree Davidstown Community Games  The Bree / Davidstown Quiz Trials take place in Bree Community Centre on Thursday, 27^th March at 8pm. Please bring a pen. All interested in taking part must not have reached their 14th birthday before the 1st August 2014. The Co Finals take place on the 15^th April.
