Bree Church Notices

On Wednesday morning last, June 22^nd, our beloved Parish Priest, Fr. Aidan Kavanagh, passed away.  News of Fr. Aidan’s passing was met with widespread shock and sadness throughout the Parish and the entire Diocese.  Father Aidan’s remains returned to the Parochial House on Thursday evening with removal to the Church of the Assumption on Friday evening.  Funeral Mass followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard took place on Saturday morning.  The entire community joined with Fr. Aidan’s family and friends, Bishop Brennan and his fellow clergy to say farewell to a much loved Pastor and friend who touched the lives of so many.  We thank God for the gift of Fr. Aidan’s life and we pray that he now rests in peace.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION – Eucharistic Adoration continues on Monday next from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
