morning Wilton and Ballybrennan areas. Wednesday
morning - Bree and Coolteigue areas. MASS Mass on
Friday evening next at 7 p.m. for the deceased of the Parish. BREE PATRON The
Annual Bree Patron will be held on Sunday 16th August, commencing with Prayers
and Blessing of the graves in Clonmore Cemetery at 2.00 p.m. and ending with Benediction
of the Blessed Sacrament in the Church. |

will be a meting on Monday evening 27th July at 8.30 pm in Bree Community Centre to
finalise arrangements for the Bank Holiday Fair Day.
Any persons willing to help out on the day please contact any committee
member. The Householders draw cards should
be returned to Eddie Dunne in the shop before the weekend if possible. Items for Bottle,
Bric 'n Brac, Produce, Cake, Book and Wheel of Fortune Stalls can be left
with any Hall Committee or Refurbishment Committee Member.

the All Ireland Coastal Rowing Championships in Waterville, Co. Kerry on August 22nd
and 23rd. Training every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday at 7.30 p.m.
Seisiun with Celtic Roots in association with Comhaltas and Treacy's Hotel take place
every Tuesday night at 8.30pm in the Bellefield GAA Complex, Enniscorthy for the months of
July and August. Admission is 10 with family concessions. Contact 087-7535354
Cabarets with Celtic Roots take place in Mernagh's Lounge, Oylegate tonight Saturday 18th
and on Sunday night 26th July

ATHLONE BOUND
Bree / Davidstown will be represented in the National Finals in Athlone in August in Girls
Soccer, Variety and Skittles as well as twenty eight athletes which qualified earlier in
the month. The U15 soccer team of Shona Spratt Murphy, Kate Murphy, Chloe Morrissey,
Rachel Condon, Aoife Hegarty, Mary Tyrrell, Niamh Rochford, Annie Stafford, Ciara
McKelvie, Grainne Byrne, Hannah Sullivan, Ciara Howe and Dervla McCabe with coach Betty
Kelly won the Leinster Final 3-2 after extra time against Wicklow. The Variety Team of
Shauna Buckley, Niamh Curran, Cait Doyle, Shannon Somers, Joanne Wickham, Sadhbh Kirwan,
Clodagh Coughlan, Aoife Doyle, Shauna Dunne, Sean Hogan, Cathal Byrne, Mark McKelvie,
Micheal Long and Shane Jordan with Producer Sinead Fortune finished in third place behind
Westmeath and Kildare to qualify and the Skittles Team of Cormac Byrne, Joseph Byrne,
Conor Byrne, Daragh Byrne, Enda Minogue, Shane Doyle and Niall Jones with David Minogue as
manager beat Laois 171 to 38 in the semifinal and Kildare in the Leinster Final 249 to 128
to retain the Byrne Perpetual Trophy.
After the wonderful success of opening the roadway to
Bree hill making it accessible for all to enjoy the wonderful walk. We would like to thank everyone involved and also
Power Plant Hire for their generous loan of their machinery. From Wednesday 29th July at 7.00pm Bree Tidy Towns
are venturing a new project in reopening Craan lane.
Work commencing at Carraig lane (exit 1) also midway on Craan road (exit 2)
