BREE YOUTH CLUB NEWS

Well done to Joseph Hogan, Sean Hogan, Lucy Forte, Leah Curran, Johanna Wickham, Sadhbh Kirwan, Shauna Dunne, Grace Donavan and Shonagh Spratt Murphy who took part in the National Final of the Variety Show in Maynooth on Saturday 14th March. Although there was disappointment on the day as the winner's prize stayed out of reach, all of the participants were fantastic and added immensely to the entertainment and enjoyment of the competition.   Bree did take 1st place in the National Banner Competition and credit must go to Emma O'Neill and Marie Parker who put in the hard work creating the banner. Thank you to Michelle Hogan and Cait Doyle who choreographed the "Thriller" Showdance and Chloe Forte whose make up expertise turned the girls into convincing zombies. Thanks also to all leaders and parents for all their help. On Friday 20th March 55 senior members and 6 leaders travelled to the Barntown disco which was held in Clonard Community Centre. It was a pleasure to accompany such well behaved young people. All are a credit to their families and community. The Junior Variety Show will take place in Caim on Friday 24th April. Rehearsals will get underway this coming week, at 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Bree Community Centre.
