Chrism Mass The Chrism Mass takes place in Saint Aidan’s Cathedral on Tuesday of Holy Week, April 15 at 8:00 pm.  If you would like to represent Bree parish at this annual Mass please contact Fr Murphy for a ticket.

National Spring  Clean 2014 Bree Tidy Towns would like to invite you once again to  participate  in the National Spring Clean promoted by An Taisce and Wexford County Council. We hope to have our Spring Clean on the weekend of Sat. 5th and Sun. 6th April.  In cooperation with the staff of Bree National School all the children will be supplied with bags to assist in the collection of rubbish in their area.  We would encourage parents to accompany their children and help in the collection of the unsightly rubbish that is all too evident on our roadsides. It would be great if all householders and landowners could check their own roadside boundaries and clear them of any rubbish.  Rubbish can be bagged and left at the following collection points over the weekend: Borodale, Ballinapierce Bridge, Wilton, Bree Village (school car park), Bree Lower, Sparrowsland,  Craan entrance to Bree Hill, Macmine Cross, Edermine Cross, Knockduff Lane Lower, Borrmount Cross and Garrenstackle.  Please be aware of safety issues, particularly with children, while out on the road.  Many thanks for your help.

Bree Utd Dinner Dance Bree United's Annual Dinner Dance will take place on the 9th of May this year, in the Stanville Lodge Hotel.  Tickets will cost €25, which includes dinner, bar extension and the fabulous Wicker House band.  It promises to be a fantastic evening so book your tickets early.

The second event was Youthfactor and Lucy Doyle took gold in this event with a fabulous performance also competing on the night was Sarah Byrne who also gave a marvellous performance. Lucy will also be heading to Kerry in June to take part in the national finals and hopefully a few supporters shall be going to give a lot of support.

Bree Macra News Bree Macra will put on a performance of the one act play "What's for Pudding?" this Thursday 3rd April at 9pm in Bree Hall. The team compete in the National Semi Final of the Macra Drama Competition next weekend and have put in a lot of hours over the past few weeks practicing hard, the opportunity to perform live in front of an audience before the competition would be much appreciated. This is the first time in many years that a Bree team has entered this prestigious event.  All are welcome to attend with the performance lasting roughly 40 minutes in total.

Cabaret—Bree Tidy Towns Fundraiser Bree Tidy Towns will host a fundraising Cabaret in Byrnes of Bree on Easter Sunday night, April 20th with music by Stuart.   Door prize and a raffle for an Easter Hamper on the night.  This is the first fundraiser the group has run since 2010 so all support would be greatly appreciated.   All proceeds raised will go towards the upkeep and maintenance of the village in preparation for Tidy Towns judging.
