Ardara defeated Armagh Harps by (0-02) in the first match, drew with Castlerahan from Cavan in the second and defeated Derrygonnelly by four points (3-07) to (3-03) to qualify for the final.  The final saw them meet a highly fancied Castlerahan side again and after a first half where Ardara struggled to find their form.  The Cavan men went in at the break leading (0-06) to (1-00), Conal Gildea getting the goal for Ardara just before the break.  The second half saw a much improved Ardara side come out and the second half was one way traffic despite hitting four wides in the first five minutes of the half, a Kieran Breslin goal on the 6th minute settled the team and they tacked on five points before the end with the Cavan men only replying with a single point to leave the final score Ardara (2-05) Castlerahan (0-07).
