This win capped off the year with Bride Rovers taking the League Title having already won the Championship. Aghabullogue were keen to go one better that their neighbours Inniscarra who were defeated by Bride Rovers in the Championship Final. After a very committed hours hurling, only a goal seperated the teams at the end.
