Sometimes I wonder what my fish say
As they swim about over their stones.
I wonder if they can talk to each other,
I wonder if they can speak english.
I wonder if they can talk to each other
Without starting a fight with one another.
I wonder if they can sing and dance
As they swim around all day.

Sounds
I hear the wind,
I hear the rain,
Everything has its name.
Pitter patter goes the rain,
Drops on the window pane.
I hear a knock at the door,
Open up it's my friend
We like to play non-stop on-end.
I hear my dog,
Woof he barks
We watch when he chases larks.

I played my lyre,
As usual at noon,
I didn't realise the results would be dire,
A girl stood there all afternoon.
We were together every day,
Every day she made me a daisy chain,
Together forever it seemed we would stay,
Until that dreadful day.
I was asleep under a tree,
And what a shock it was to me,
When I woke up again,
Around my neck there was no chain!
I looked all around me,
But I couldn't see Eurydice,
I asked a wolf, I asked a bird,
I think, they thought I was absurd.
I finally came to a field filled with flowers,
I could have stayed in there for at least twelve hours,
Then on the ground I saw an unfinished daisy chain,
I decided I HAD to find Eurydice again.
I had a feeling Pluto had something to do with this,
I had to get her back,
She had given me so much bliss,
Even though the underworld would be dark and black.
I walked down the tunnel, down and down,
And then, on my face there was a frown,
For in front of me there was a river as black as the night,
Then I saw a raft coming towards me I got an awful fright.
He came towards me and he said,
"You cannot come, you are not dead"
And so I played sad songs on my lyre,
And this time the results weren't dire.
He took me across,
And then I saw a pair of eyes that looked cross,
Then another and another!,
That must be it's sister, and that's it's brother.
I played my lyre and it fell asleep,
And from then on it didn't make a peep,
I stepped over the dog with care,
Go back? Now! I wouldn't dare.
The ceiling seemed to get further above,
Soon I would get back my lost love,
At last, I came to a place full of clouds and mist,
Eurydice would SO have to pay me back for this.
I saw a lot of thunder and lightning,
But to me it wasn't at all frightning,
Then I heard a laugh behind me,
It had to be Pluto, who else could it be?
I struck a deal and then he said,
"She will follow behind you, dead,
But you cannot turn, or communicate,
Or she will come back to me, and it will be too late!"
And I said "Okay"
And not more than a few seconds later in the day,
I was off upon my way,
But on my travel I began to ponder,
Was she really behind me I wondered.
But then I heard the voice of Eurydice,
"Orpheus, why do you turn away from me?
What is the point of me coming with you,
If you do not love me too?"
What was I supposed to do?
I turned around, and in my eyes it said "I love you"
I saw Eurydice but it was too late,
She had gone back to her former state.
I didn't have any choice,
I tried to shout, but I had no voice!
I stepped over the dog, this time it wasn't cross,
Then the man on the raft took me across.
What happened to Eurydice? I don't know,
That's all of my story though.

Orpheus
I miss you every day,
My music is not good any more ,
The bears and all the others do not listen to me any more ,
My music is not good without you ,
I love you with all my heart ,
I am just a dot now ,
I can't live with out you ,
You are the stars in the sky ,
No one could live without you .
Eurydice
I miss you every day ,
Whan I wake up I think you are beside me but you just fade away ,
I remerber the day whan you turned around and I came back to the dark ,
I can't live without you ,
I love you all my heart ,
I am cold, you make me warm ,
I can't hear you sing; all I hear is old people ,
You make the sun get brighter and brighter.

QUICKLY
Quickly,quickly run the race.
Have to run and pick up pace.
Have to stop and tie my lace.
Now I fall and hit my face.
Up opon my head was red.
Was that blood up on my head.
Slowely, slowly I stood up.
On my head there was a cut
Quickly, quickly start to run.
I'm not having too much fun.
then I trip on a drain
Squealing loudly in my pain.
Standing up, I look ahead
Feeling just like I am dead
Slowly, slowly I run by.
Feeling just like I will die.
Running, running for a while
feeling though it is a mile.
Near the end pick up pace.
But alas, don't win the race.

Blue is the sky on a summer's day.
Blue is the ocean when I go to the beach to play,
Blue are my hands on a winter's day.
When I'm feeling blue I wish I could go out to play.

Green is my face on a journey in the car
Green is the grass on a sunny spring day.
Green are the mountains that are near and far
Green is my brother's face
If I get my way.

My Monster.
My monster is scary,
My monster is cool.
He owns a mansion,
He owns a pool.
He dived on the board
And screamed "whoopee!"
My monsters only friend is me.

Night
In the night ,
Everyone sleeps,
Everything's quiet,
Not a peep.
In the night,
The moon shines down,
While everyone dreams,
It puts on a frown.
In the night,
There's not a peep,
Except the crickets that whistle,
When everyone sleeps.

Rain
Pitter patter, pitter patter,
On the window pane,
But when it hits that soft dark soil,
I have heard it say,
Pitter patter, pitter patter,
Pitter patter, splatter!

The Rainy Day.
Pitter, patter raindrops
On the window pane,
Spoiling my chance
To play golf again.
Lightning flashes
Thunder roars
Dark clouds rumble
And still the rain pours.

My dog Rosco is lazy and fat,
He sits all day on the doorstep mat.
He moves so slow
It's like watching grass grow.
He sleeps in the sun
And won't go for a run.
But when it's time for dinner
We're onto a winner.

My Computer.
My computer drives me mad
Because it takes so long at loading.
It takes an age,
Puts me in a rage
And fills me with forboding.
It suddenly splutters into action,
My heart is filled with joy.

My Sister
My sister is funny,
My sister is sweet,
She plays with her toys
And is really neat.
My sister is joyful,
My sister is kind
But the best thing about her
She's got a wonderful mind.
During the day she causes mayhem,
But, during the night
She's as quiet as a lamb.
