My sun/daughter played in the Leinster and National Matchplay but he/she seems to have only points in one of them.
Spring and Winter Matchplays are considered as one event with different rounds. You have to qualify in one to be able to play in the next one (top ranked players may be put forward into Leinster MP directly). Although there are points at both levels, points are awarded only once at the end of the National MP. The highest value of the two is awarded to each player. The Rank tables show only this value. The full list (alphabetic) shows both. The one that counts has a ticked check box, the other doesn't.
If only tournaments in Leinster are to be counted, why are non-Leinster players in the ranking?
It is a Leinster Entry Ranking, based on results of Leinster Tournaments. If we do not include non-Leinster players, tournament organizers will have no details on them when they15-Aug-2007
