Our School Library

The library in our school was officially opened on the 11th of February 1999 - the Feast of our Lady of Lourdes. Our Parish Priest Fr. Jones did the opening.

It has over 2,000 new books and my class and I go there every Monday. There are storybooks for ages four to fourteen in it. Every person in the school has a book tag with his or her name on it. I like the encyclopaedias because they are full up with facts about nature, history, battles, human and animals. Mrs. Dunne in our school is very kind and helpful by spending her time sorting out the books in the right order. The library helps us out on projects and if we want to do some drawing or art there are books about art. The books cost a total £5495! I like to read the encyclopaedias about history and prehistory like dinosaurs!
