Round 8

Cumann na mBunscol Quiz 2001

The annual Cumman na mBunscol, Co. Shligigh, Table Quiz 2001 took place in the Teeling Centre, Collooney, on the 23rd of February, 2001 at 8.00p.m. The quizmaster was Mr. Eamonn Mullen of St. Brendan's National School, Sligo. Each school in Co. Sligo could enter a maximum of 2 teams of 4 members each. Entry fee was £4 per team. The quiz consisted of 8 rounds with 8 questions in each round. Each round included a 'ceist as gaeilge' (Question in the Irish language) and there was 1 picture round. Well done to last year's champions, Ardkeeran National School, Riverstown, who won with 49 questions correct out of 64.
