Her interest in heritage extends to her professional career as manager of RTÉ’s television library and archives.

Áine Sheridan
Áine Sheridan hails from Milltown, North Galway, in the area of Maigh Seola. She became aware of the collection of songs at an early age due to the fact that one of the songs collected by Eibhlín Bean Uí Choisealbha, 'Antaine Dubh', concerned a relation of her's who was a blacksmith.
Áine felt it was important to regenerate interest the songs for the community of North Galway through her teaching in Tuam and subsequently set about creating the group, Maigh Seola, with Bríd Dooley.
She plays harp and sings a number of songs from the collection.
