January
2005: Maigh Seola participated in a concert held in the Radisson
SAS Hotel, Galway to raise funds in aid of victims & survivors
of the tsunami that hit the coasts of South East Asia. Other
musicians who took part were: Arty McGlynn & Nollaig Casey;
Sharon Shannon & Frankie Gavin; Máirtín O'Connor, Cathal
Hayden & Garry Ó Briain. The concert was recorded for Irish
language station TG4 and was broadcast on Sunday, January 23. |

Archive launched Maigh Seola's first recording, 'Beyond the Mearing Wall' at Brennan's Yard Hotel,
Galway, on the 18th of the month. |

January 2004: Traditional Irish Music
Reviewer Earle Hitchner of 'The Irish Echo' includes Maigh Seola's
'Beyond the Mearing Wall' in his top ten recordings of 2003. |

May 2004: Cathal Goan, Director General of
RTÉ, will perform the Dublin launch of 'Beyond the Mearing Wall' at
Foras na Gaeilge headquarters in Merrion Square on the 12th of the
month. |

Maigh Seola will be appearing in Galway's Townhall
Theatre, along with Altan on the 19th. The following night sees them
giving a concert at The Cobblestone in Dublin's Smithfield (May 20). |

July 2004: Maigh Seola will
feature on RTÉ Radio One's Arts Programme, Rattlebag on Tuesday,
July 13. (2.45pm - 3.30pm) |

July 23: filming for TG4 music
programme 'Abair Amhráin'. To be televised during TG4's Autumn

Radio One. The programme was broadcast live from St. Nicolas'
Collegiate Church in Galway on Tuesday, December 14. |
