Bagenalstown, County Carlow and Pont Pean, France, were officially twinned in May 2000, when the second signing of the Twinning Charter took place in Pont Pean. The first signing of the Charter took place in Bagenalstown in April 1999.
Members of the Bagenalstown Twinning Committee visited Pont Pean in April 1988 to find out about the town, its people, and its attractions. Click on the links below to find out more.
