Carrigallen is a snug little village hidden away among the rolling hills of South East Leitrim
where every hollow seems to hold a lake and every lake holds fish, with the Town Lake only 50 yards
from the centre of the village and Gangin 500 yards south of the village.

The waters around Carrigallen form the upper reaches of the great River Erne System - five miles
to the west and south are a host of lakes and rivers which empty into the shannon - the two greatest
coarse fishing complexes in Europeand now linked by the Ballyconnell canel making it the most etensive
waterway in Europe for fishing, sruising or watersports.

Carrigallen is a good centre for touring: Drumcoura City 8km, Lough Rynn Estate 15km,
Killykeen Forset Park 10km, Lough Key Forest Park 50km, and many other places of interest
in the surrounding area.
