In early May 1997 a committee,
under the chairmanship of Patrick Mitchell decided to run an annual
festival in the village
of Carrigallen. It was decided that the August Bank Holiday weekend
would be the ideal time to commence the
celebrations. Browse through some of the pictures by Tony Fahy
