Carrigallen claims a
history of amateur theatre dating back to the last century. Origionaly
known
as the Carrigallen Players and then during the 1970's and 80's
as the Carrigallen Community
Players,1987 saw the dawn of a new era in the history of drama
in Carrigallen, when the group
erected their own purpose built theatre; The Corn Mill Theatre.
