SCHOOL BOYS WIN COUNTY TITLE

Carrigallen NS footballers travelled to Cloone Football Park recently to play Annaduff.
Annaduff got off to a flying start and had the Carrigallen boys on the run with their clever fast football
and went in at the break leading 2-4 to 0-5. In the second half we saw a very much improved Carrigallen team who lifted their
game and took some great scores to claw their way back into contention. In a pulsating finish it was Carrigallen who got the scores to
claim victory on a final scoreline of Carrigallen 3-7 Annaduff 2-9. Congratulations to the panel of players who won all their games in the competition
and to their management team of Master Carron, Miss Fitzpatrick, Mary Kenny and Michael Kenny.

The management wish to thank Pat Masterson and Donal Cadden, Kilbracken Arms for providing refreshments for players
and mentors which was much appreciated. They also wish to acknowledge the support of the parents at all the matches and during the campaign.
