Situated in Milltown the Abbey and tower date back to the Middle Ages.  The Tower has two clearly different building styles.  The base dates back to the 12th Century whilst the top portion is mid 15th Century.   Local folklore suggests that it is the work of two different builders - one a man, the other a woman!
