There is no local sea fishing to be had in 'land locked' Cavan.   However, should you fancy a change of scenery and maybe take the family to the seaside for the day then the west coast is a couple of hours drive away.   Here you will find beautiful beaches and harbour towns for the family to entertain themselves whilst you indulge in the delights of the many charter boats available.

Westport is a popular area and provides excellent facilities for all.
