The Courthouse
The Court house was erected by clare County Grand Jury in 1850 to the design of Henry Whitehouse at the cost of £12,000.. In front of the Courthouse in the Peoples Park there is a larger than life bronze statue of Eamon de Valera. DeValera was President of Ireland from 1959 to 1972.
