Why I Like Christmas

My favorite holiday is Christmas because you get presents (if you are very good ) or coal if you were very bad. A way that I like Christmas is that I have to eat this thing out of sauerkraut and eat this soup but it cloaks clear. Then sometimes we go to other people's houses or stay at home. There's a drink that Polish people have to make and drink with different kinds of fruit that can look like to has been rotten inside. You also have to eat the soup and then swallow the drink once a year on Christmas Eve. That is the way I like Christmas time since I am Polish.

I would like to tell you a little bit about my favorite holiday. My favorite holiday is Christmas. Here in the U.S. many different people celebrate many different holidays. I celebrate Christmas. Christmas time is tons of fun. the reason Christmas is my favorite holiday is you get to spend time with your family and you get and give presents to each other. I also like this time because of all the decorations and good food. During the time of Christmas we set up a Christmas tree and put lights and ornaments on the tree. We get presents on Christmas Eve from my Dad's mom and aunt and uncles on my Dad's side. Then the next morning there are presents from Santa and our Mom and Dad under the tree. So then we open those. Then everybody on my Mom's side comes over to our house and we eat and open presents with them. When Christmas is over, we get to play with our presents. That is why Christmas is my favorite holiday.

Eggnog

At the dead of night on this eve a plump man in a red cloak spreads splendors wrapped in crimson parchment under the tree. He bites the tasty cookies and washes them down with a cold cup of thick eggnog. The rich scent of cinnamon candles and holly fills the air the next morning as large pieces of tissue paper trash our living room. If you are familiar with gingerbread and sleigh bells, you've already guessed it. My favorite holiday is Christmas.
My favorite tradition is "Christmas Lighting." We drive around Phoenix looking at all the beautiful arrays of light. During this Saint Nick pays a visit to our tree.
Christmas really is the best holiday.
