HURLING

One of my favourite sports is hurling. I like to play the game with my school and my club .I watch the game on TV and sometimes I go to see them. I live in County Clare. My county won the All Ireland in 1995 for the first time in 81 years. They also won it 1997. My parish Doora Barefield won the All Ireland Club Final in 1999.They bet Rathnure in the final which I was at in Croke Park. I play with Doora Barefield under 10s.We recently won a competition.

Other Clare teams such as Sixmilebridge and the County Minors have won the All Irelands as well for Clare in the past few years. I hope to play for Clare some day!!!

The captain now is Brian Lohan and the manager is Cyril Lyons. My favourite player is Jamsie O' Conner who plays wing forward.
