A Transition Year is offered to all the students who have completed their Junior Certificate. This course is very popular with our students. Work Experience is an important element of the course and suitable employment is secured for each boy.

Transition Year provides our pupils with an ideal opportunity to mature and explore the many course options available to them before they proceed to their Leaving Certificate Course.

MEDIA STUDIES:

This is one of the additional subjects offered to our Transition Year students. Our students love this course because it gives them an opportunity to produce and edit their own programmes on audio and video tapes. The school possesses a video camera, a sophisticated editing machine and many videos and televisions. Technology is no stranger to our pupils who have hands-on-experience with the latest of equipment.
