Objectives
In pursuance of its Mission Statement, Cavan CEB will have as its central objective, to operate as a clearly focused, proactive local enterprise support organisation. It will act as a catalyst to promote enterprise and economic development amongst all sectors of the community i.e. private entrepreneurs, community enterprise groups, and marginalised groups such as the long-term unemployed, women and the disabled.
Who can be assisted
The board can assist in the establishment and growth of eligible new and existing small businesses in County Cavan on a multi-sectional basis.

The offices of the Board are located at 17, Farnham Street, Cavan and are open to the public,

Services Available
The staff of the enterprise board can advise you on how to convert your idea into a business and how to develop a business plan.
Single point of contact
The board’s staff can advise and guide you on services and assistance that may be available to you from other state agencies, commercial bodies and financial institutions.

Financial Assistance
Grants available for eligible projects include:-

Feasibility study grants
Up to 75% of the cost of the study can be grant aided to a maximum of £5,000

Capital Grants
Up to 50% of capital outlay is available subject to a maximum of £50,000

Employment Grants
Up to £5,000 is available for each newly created full-time job.
