Business along the Copper Coast

The Copper Coast is set in a rural part of County Waterford, where agriculture
is predominant. Employment has always been an issue, even before the
European Geopark designation. Undergoing major changes, following the
closing/reorganisation of nearby factories or economical mutations, people
living in the area have been looking for ways to develop their own income
without having to leave this beautiful place to find jobs in the bigger town/cities.

The European Geoparks designation added an extra sense of place to the
Copper Coast, with more tourists visiting the area each year, with needs for
facilities and services.
