AN APPRECIATION :
To his countless admirers and Friends world wide , Alan was the quiet man of Celtic Fusion.
Solid and Dependable , his understated Guitar style was an appropriately effective counter point to the more colourfull aspects of the act. Yet his role as anchor man of Celtic Fusion was but one facet of his talent as a Guitar player .
His preferred style was electric Blues in which he excelled. In this role he was a much sought after lead player in and around his home base of Limerick City, Ireland . Where he performed ,recorded and jammed with a myriad of Bands in his all too short career.
Alan Cheevers our much loved friend and colleague played his final Gig with Celtic Fusion on 26/2/2000 in Winterthur, Switzerland.
