CELTIC FUSION

CELTIC FUSION release their long awaited and much anticipated follow up to their

BEST selling “CELTIC FUSION LIVE”

 in June with a NEW C.D. entitled,

“THE WAY TO GO”.

The title track is an anti war anthem penned by Don O’Connor and produced by Donal Lunny. It is a hard-hitting indictment of the gung ho protagonists of the recent gulf war. Another stand out track is the much requested, “FOR THOSE WHO DIED”.

The C.D. is dedicated to the memory of the late Celtic Fusion guitarist Alan Cheevers.

Are once again available for engagements in Ireland.

Having devoted the past ten years to building their reputations abroad.

In 2002 Don returned to complete a Masters Degree in Community Music, at the world music department in the University of Limerick.

Having successfully gained an honors degree he is now working with various groups, particularly in the area of special needs.

His has brought him in touch with the Irish scene again, with the result that the internationally acclaimed CELTIC FUSION are now available for exclusive work at, private functions, weddings, corporate events, festivals and concerts

With a musical pedigee second to none Celtic Fusion will bring that something special to any event.

For the first time since the groups demise in the mid 80’s, Don O’Connor’s

CELTIC FUSION will be featuring a number of their material in their set.

CELTIC FUSION are a three piece group consisting of guitar, keyboards, accordion, harmonica, percussion including marching drum, washboard, spoons and vocals.

Cater for audiences of all age groups, with a varied programme from rock and oldies, to waltz, trad and pop.
