1. I will not give out personal information such as my address, telephone number, parents' work address/telephone number, the name and location of my school or meeting place without the permission of a parent/guardian or adult leader. 2. If I see any information that makes me feel uncomfortable, I will turn off the monitor and tell my parent/guardian or adult leader right away. 3. I know that people I "meet" online are not always who they say they are. I will never agree to get together with someone I "meet" online without first checking with my parent/guardian. 4. I will get to know my "online" friends just as I would get to know my other friends. 5. I will never send a person my picture or anything else without first checking with my parent/guardian. 6. I will not answer any messages that are nasty or in any way make me feel uncomfortable. It is not my fault if I get a message like that, and if I do, I will tell my parent/guardian right away so that they can deal with it. 7. I will never use bad language or sent nasty messages online myself. 8. I will be careful and think about what I write and whom I give information to. 9. I will log off if I am unsure. 10. I will not give my password to anyone except my parent/guardian (not even to my best friend).
