The success of the I.U.T.F. is built on the loyalty of its instructors to traditional TKD, while bringing an open-mind and modern approach to training, aswell as the indomitable willingness to learn. "We are very lucky to be led by a person who recklessly strides to improve on standards in all aspects of our group". Mr. Dalton eagerly attends seminars and training sessions around the world, soaking up the knowledge and bringing it home for all our benefit.

"His global connections and friendships to great martial artists around the world enables us to train and learn from famous world champions and real masters, when he brings them to the Green Isle for seminars" said Mark Philpott, the winner of many major titles, which include a bronze medal at the Open World Championships 1998, a silver medalist at the European Championships 1999, and who is currently a WKA light contact World Champion".

The Association is also famous for it’s intense national squad sessions which are held around the country. Those sessions have led to unbelievable success on the tournament circuit both nationally and internationally. The I.U.T.F. provides a very strong support system for all its instructors, providing certified referees and umpire courses, instructor courses and an annual preliminary black belt grading system is also in place.

The previously mentioned seminars given by International Instructors of various styles and systems as well as numerous special training sessions on a National level are the strong framework behind the success. The National team gains experience during extensive travels to competitions around the world and made a name for themselves in big events like the West African Open, the Westfallen Cup, Germany, the Middle East Open, the World Championships (GB), and the European Championships (Netherlands).

The latest Development of the I.U.T.F. is the joint franchise for the Rwando International in Ireland adding Irish quality to a truly International TKD Body
