Poems about Spring

Crocuses are purple
This is not pink
When I see them
I like to think
That they will stay
Not fade with a blink.

Daffodils are yellow
They always grow in Spring
Some grow up tall
Tied up with a string.

Pink roses are sweet
When we see them
We think it’s a treat.

Tulips here and there
We like to wear them
Especially in our hair.

Baby’s breath is white
It looks very, very bright
In the wind
They cover the kite.

Soft to the touch
Roses I like so much
Orange, pink and red
Roses to wear on my head.

Daisies are white
My sister helps me pick them
Before the night
We make necklaces and
Bracelets too
And we have enough
To decorate my shoe.

Flowers everywhere
We like to stop and stare
Small and tall
We like them all.

Daffodils are shiny
They look so very tiny
Yellow and white
They look so nice and bright.

I like to fly my kite
When the spring flowers
Are lovely and white.

Flowers make me happy
Flowers make me laugh
I always want to touch them
Because they’re soft as silk
And Narcissus is the colour of milk.

Baby’s Breath looks like
Flakes of snow
Sometimes I want to blow
And blow and blow.

My Nana and I plant flowers
They grow and grow and grow
But not if there is
A shower of snow,snow,snow.

Purple and orange
Yellow and white
Red and pink
And they are really bright.

Daffodils are yellow
The colour of the sun
They’re really bright
And they’re also lots of fun

I love roses
Because they are red
I have a pretty vase
With them
On the side of my bed

Narcissus are white
And they are very nice
Sometimes I give them
To my friends at week-ends.
I’d rather leave them in the garden
Than pick them for the den.

My daffodils are in a pot
Jiggles likes to eat them
And they will be gone
Like a shot.

I have a sunflower
It grows out in my back
I like to watch it grow
As tall as my Dad.
