Decorating our cookies.Melissa, Margaret and Julie mixed the icing sugar and water on plates. They added pink or green food colouring to the icing. Each girl made some coloured icing and decorated their cookies. They also used piping sugar, jelly diamonds and other sugar decorations.The girls placed their cookies on trays and showed them to the rest of the school. Measuring our ingredientsThe girls in 5th and 6th class adjusted the recipe, so that we would have enough cookie dough for the group. They multiplied the ingredients quantities by 4.We used balance scales to weigh our flour, sugar and butter. |
