This is what some of the girls had to say before they made their First Confession:

 Chelsea:

We are making our Confessions and I am so excited about it.  We are making it in Christ the King Church.  It is at 1.30p.m.  My mam and dad are coming to it.

Shannon:

My First Confession is on Monday the 22nd of March in Christ the King church.  My mum and nanny are coming to the church to hear me do my reading and watch me make my First Confession.

Shauna:

During my Confessions I will tell the priest all of my sins.  If I was bold I will tell him, if I was good I will tell him.  I will tell the priest if I done something wrong.  God will forgive me.

Ciara:

I am making my First Confession. I will tell the priest all my sins.  I am making my confessions in Christ the King church.  God will forgive me.  When I make my Confessions I will be a part of God’s family.

This is what Shauna said after she made her First Confession:

Yesterday was a special day for me.  We all went to the church.  My mam came too.  When it was my turn I went up to the altar and I told the priest my sins.  The priest blessed me and told me to give my ma a hug
