This year's Young Player of the Year has never won any major honours in the game - yet. He was a member of the minor team for the last two years, filling many positions but playing mainly at wing back. He played a major part in the team reaching a county minor final in '97 and was man of the match in many games in '98.

His commitment to training is second to none. Even when he sustained an injury early this year he still never failed to attend training and his encouragement to others was always most evident.
