Ladies Player of the Year - 2001

This year's Player of the Year has been greatly involved in sporting activities throughout her career to date. She has represented her school, Club, county and province in Gaelic football. She has also contributed highly to her secondary school's basketball and soccer teams. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude has been an invaluable asset to the youth within the Club. The time and energy she has spent coaching the underage teams within the Club has not been left unappreciated.

Her main attributes include her high fielding, her great control, her skill on the ball and her amazing acceleration. She is instantly recognisable for her colourful footwear on the field of play, which has been noted on numerous occasions by many, even the commentators.

Among the honours, this player has won two minor championships in 1995-1996, 3 Senior Championships '95, ‘96, '97 and one Connacht in 1995.

A very deserving recipient who was also a member of the Junior Ladies All-Ireland winning championship of 2001.

This year's Ladies Player of the Year 2001 is none other than
