Ladies Player of the Year - 2003
The recipient of this award has become one of the
best players, not only at club level,
but at county level as well over the last few years.
She has won practically every honour at club level,
and stamped her authority at county level for the first time this year.
Her versatility, and ability to play in different
positions, shows what the girl is capable of and what an asset she is to her
team-mates. Her own character both on and off the pitch is exemplary.
Her dedication to training has always been first
class and she has always been a pleasure to manage and train.
We can think of no other player more deserving to receive this award. It has to be our No. 3, No. 8, No. 11, whatever number this girl wears it makes no difference, because her class tells thorough. The Clann na nGael Ladies Player of the Year Award for 2003 goes to:
