Clann na nGael

Club Person of the Year - 2003

The 2003 Clann na nGael Club person of the year has been an active member of the club since the late 1980's and has given outstanding, uninterrupted service since then.

With energetic enthusiasm, this year's recipient burst into action at senior level in 1996 when becoming a leading member of the executive and now enters a ninth successive year on the executive.

During this period, this year's recipient made a huge impact on the club's finances, working tirelessly week in, week out to keep the club afloat.

Huge involvement in Ladies football both at club and county level is another hallmark of this energetic person, who has performed for many years as a well respected delegate to the Ladies County Board.

This dedication at county level was without doubt well rewarded with the arrival of al All Ireland Ladies medal into the household in 2001.

At club level, as well as looking after the finances, there is no doubt that without this persons involvement, the three very successful club holidays would not have happened.

Having just completed four years as club treasurer, the very deserving winner of the Martin McManus Memorial Cup for the Clann na nGael Club Person of the year award 2003 is,

Breda Dolan
