This year's recipient of the Ladies Player of the Year award has been greatly involved in many sporting activities throughout her career to date. She has represented her school, club and county in Gaelic Football. She has also contributed highly to her secondary school's other sporting teams.

Her enthusiasm and commitment to training were second to none throughout the year and few matched her attitude and contribution on the field. Her main attributes include her high fielding ability, her great control, her strength on the ball and her vision on the field of play. It was a mixture of these atributes, her dedication to her fellow teammates and some exceptional performances that helped both the minor and senior teams to county finals this year.

Among the honours this player has won to date are as follows:

1 Under 12 County Championship Medal.

2 Under 14 County Championship Medals

2 Under 16 County Championship Medals

1 Intermediate County Championship Medal

2 Intermediate Connaught Championship Medals

1 Intermediate All Ireland Club runner up medal.

According to the Clann na nGael management team, she is a pleasure to train, coach and manage. She has without doubt proven herself to be on e of the best midfielders in the county. There is no player more deserving of the 2004 ladies player of the year award than our midfield maestro….
