Clann na nGael

Clubperson of the Year - 2007

This year's Club Person of the year represented the club in his younger days in all grades up to under-21 level and as a club official has been one of the hardest working members of the club for the past few years. For the past seven years he has been a constant presence in Johnstown on a Sunday morning.

He started his involvement with the under 8 team and has earned a reputation as a fair-minded and hard working manager at underage ever since. His understanding, and willingness to give every player a game, no matter what, has endeared him to every young footballer for the past seven years.

In 2007 he took over as chairman of the minor board and also gained a place on the club executive. His 'Can-Do' attitude has seen him go from strength to strength ever since and he remains one of the most active members of our club.

The Martin McManus trophy for the Clann na nGael Club Person of the year for 2007 goes to
